Our brief was to extend an existing family house, our key intention was to provide flexibility for the family, openness and strong connection with the gardens.

The extention, primarily to the west of existing house, reinforces horizontal movement across the plan whilst the projecting timber and glass volumes create a symbiotic relationship between house and garden.
